Q - What is TextDoc™
A - TextDoc™ is a patent protected patient-doctor appointment scheduling service by Typhoon
Wireless. It manages patient queuing and appointment scheduling which significantly
reduces administration work and patient wait times. It also improves patient show rate and
punctuality.
Q - What makes TextDoc™ better than calling a landline for appointments
A - Through TextDoc™, a patient can schedule an appointment with his doctor anywhere.
Furthermore, with this system, patients will get a reconfirmation message, as well as
reminder alerts on his scheduled appointment.
A day before the preferred appointment, TextDoc™ will text the patient re-confirming is he
can make it to his chosen date.
On the day of the appointment, the patient will get a reminder message 30 minutes to 1
hour before the scheduled time.
Q - Who can avail of the TextDoc™ services
A - TextDoc™ is open to all patients and doctors.
Q - How can doctors sign-up with TextDoc™
A - Doctors can sign up either through the web or by calling the customer service hotline. Through the Internet Fill up all the information needed in the Sign Up page. Soon after, expect a call from our associates
at Typhoon Wireless Inc. Further details and instructions will be provided soon after you have signed
up.
Through Landline If you do not have access to the web, you can call 896.6043 and Typhoon Wireless associates will be
available to help set up your account.
*Please note that there is an annual fee of P1,000 and no SMS fees for doctors to use the service.
Q - How can patients sign-up with TextDoc™
A - Through the Mobile Phone To register, type REG name and send to 2963. A list of doctors will be provided and patient has to
choose the doctor he wants to see before he can start booking.
Through the Internet Registration through the web is also possible. Just fill up all the needed information at the Sign Up.
However, you will still need your mobile phone because all reconfirmation and reminder messages
will be sent to your mobile phone. Q - How do I book with TextDoc™
A - The main booking format accepted by the system is BOOK [date] [time] which translates to
BOOK Oct22 10am. However, these are the other formats accepted
- BOOK October22 10am
- BOOK Mon 10am
- BOOK Oct22 10 am
- BOOK - default for today and earliest available time for the doctor chosen
Q - How much is the charging
A - Each booking request by the patient costs P2.50 (for Globe & Smart subscribers) and P2.00
(for Sun subscribers)
Q - Is TextDoc™ available for both prepaid and postpaid subscribers
A - Yes, TextDoc™ is available for both prepaid and postpaid subscribers. They are both charged
P2.50 (for Globe & Smart subscribers) and P2.00 (for Sun subscribers) for every successful
booking.
Q - Can I register more than one patient in my cellphone number
A - Yes, multiple registration for one cellphone number is accepted. Upon booking, the system
will ask who among the registered patients under the number will be booked.
Q - How will I know if my doctor is subscribed to the system
A - Upon registration, the system will give you a list of the subscribed doctors. You will then have
to choose among these doctors who you want to see. The website also provides the same list. You
can check out the list at the About Us page. Q - Where do I send my feedback / comments / suggestions
A - Please use the feedback form available at the TextDoc™ website. Your feedback will be
forwarded to the person in charge and will get back to you asap regarding your inquiry.
